Honest pricing

Built by an operator, priced like one. No setup fees, ever.

The estimator that finally beats Xactimate on price and on the contractor's side of the table. Add only the back-office modules you actually need. Bring your own QuickBooks or Gusto if you already pay for them.

The estimator that isn't owned by your customer's lawyer.

Xactimate is owned by Verisk Analytics — a public company whose largest shareholders are the same insurance carriers who pay your claims. Their pricing book benefits the people writing the check, not the people doing the work. ScopeForge was built by a working remediation operator who got tired of watching margins disappear into someone else's pricing book. Your data is yours. Your pricing is yours. Your estimates aren't second-guessed by software your customer also owns.

Frequently asked

How is this different from Xactimate?

Xactimate is owned by Verisk Analytics, whose major shareholders include insurance carriers — the same carriers paying the claims you estimate. Their pricing book is structurally biased low. ScopeForge is built by working remediation operators on the contractor's side of the table. You set your own pricing book, your own labor rates, your own overrides — and they persist.

Do I have to use your Financials / Expenses / Payroll modules?

No. Every module is optional. Most contractors already pay for QuickBooks, Gusto, or ADP. The native modules are there if you want a single-vendor stack — but if you'd rather connect what you already have, that integration slot is free.

What happens after the 14-day trial?

You drop to the free tier (one active project) until you pick a paid plan. Your data isn't deleted, your projects aren't locked. You just can't open a second active project without subscribing.

Can my insurance carriers see what I send them?

Yes — and they'll like what they see. Every scope packet you submit lands in a clean, branded, web-based adjuster portal with photo evidence carrying GPS + timestamp + cryptographic hash. Carriers spend less time hunting for documentation. We're actively building carrier-side relationships so adjusters know to expect ScopeForge submissions.

Where does my data live? Can I export it?

Your data lives in a tenant-isolated database — only you can see it. You can export your entire org's data as a ZIP at any time from the Billing page. If you cancel, you keep your exports.

I have an Android crew. Does ScopeForge work for us?

Yes. The estimator, photos, evidence chain, carrier submission, adjuster portal, financials, expenses, and mileage all work in any modern browser on any phone or tablet. The one feature that requires Apple hardware is on-device LiDAR room scanning, because Apple’s RoomPlan framework is iOS-only. For Android crews you have three paths: (1) Bring your own scanner — import scans from Polycam (Android + iOS, free + $15/mo Pro), Matterport, or any tool that exports OBJ or our universal scan JSON spec. (2) Use a Bluetooth laser distance meter (Bosch GLM, Leica DISTO) and enter dimensions in the app. (3) Buy one shared iPhone Pro for the LiDAR-scanner role — one device per crew, not per person.

What scanning tools does ScopeForge import from?

Native: Apple RoomPlan via our iOS app. Third-party (any device): Polycam, Matterport, generic OBJ/USDZ from any 3D scanner, and our published ScopeForge Universal scan JSON spec that any scanning vendor can target. You can also enter rooms manually with length / width / height — the same workflow contractors used pre-LiDAR.

Do you do enterprise / multi-location pricing?

Yes. The Enterprise plan covers the common case. For multi-location operators, multi-brand contractors, or carriers wanting white-label deployments, contact us directly.
